Autumn Splendor

Autumn looks pretty stunning here in the north woods,
whether dressed in subtle black and white...

or colorful garb.

Her visit always seems too short.
I beg her to linger but, alas she won't listen.

Wishing you splendid autumn days!

  1. I just love that first shot in black and white of a lone leaf doing a graceful pirouette. The second shot is lovely too with the monochrome capture bringing out the structure of the leaves. The colours are great too, especially the third one with the blue of the sky and the play of sun on the leaves.
Isn't this time of the year wonderful?

  5. Anna, I am trying so hard to pick a favorite here, and I think it is the first one.
So many times simplicity can speak volumes, and this one sure does to me.
    The composition is purely magical.

    I hope you've had a wonderful Monday.

  6. Wow! I love all these magnificence images. The black and white are gorgeous, as for the tree trunks, the lights is delightful. The last one please me a lot, I did something similar. Love it!
