Autumn Arabesque

I enjoy the rich colors of autumn as much as the next person but,
I also find beauty in all the dying and dried up plant and leaf forms.
I guess that's kind of a Morticia Adams' view of autumn beauty!

In that vein, here's a fern from our woods ~
Autumn Arabesque.

Hoping your autumn is amazing, whether colorful or quirky!

  2. It's a lovely form, enhanced by your skill. Happy Autumn. Thank you so much for the postcard; I will send you one soon...I'm a postal slacker.

  3. I love the detailed curl of this fern and it takes on another feel in black and white, like that of some intricate piece of silver jewellery.
May your week be full of autumnal beauty! Sandra

  4. Not only is this beautiful, but it makes me smile too, Anna.
Any time my kids see me with my camera, they ask if I'm going out to "take pictures of dead plants and condemned houses."
I am glad I am not the only one!
there is something truly special about plants and flowers when not in their prime, as you have so beautifully shown here.
    xo.
