Applesauce and Raindrops

When the apples on our tree are ripe, studio work gets put on hold,
as there's applesauce to make!
So, that was my job one rainy morning.

After the rain had stopped and the sun was shining,
I brought all the peels out for the deer to enjoy.
On the ground, I spied the most amazing cone-shaped,
spider's web filled with raindrops.

The spider didn't like the looks of me and my camera,
but of course,
the raindrops didn't mind.

Wishing you a happy and creative week!

The Feather

While walking our puppy, I found this feather.
It had drifted into our yard, by the lake,
nestling itself against delicate greenery.

I marveled at its intricate detail and beauty -
a gift for a photographer.

Today, I'm also contributing to Kim Klassen's, The Inspiration Studio.
I hope you can join me there as I share images of my favorite things.
Kim has made some exciting new changes to the iStudio site.
I think you will love this space!

Wishing you a happy and creative week.

The Door

Have you ever looked at a door and wondered what lies behind it?
Maybe you'll find dappled sunlight, beautiful objects,
mystery, wonder, or amazing adventures........

Ok, we're drifting off into a fairytale.
But, this was a door -
an old door that had tales to tell and vines to adorn it.
Not bad for reality, eh?
