Black River Gathering

A recent Pow Wow -
color, movement, and pageantry in a sacred space.

Loved my time there!

  1. Love those colourful robes and the feeling of movement during this gathering at Black River. All great shots, Anna and I especially like number three with the little girl with butterflies on the bottom of her dress and the man so well attired and the very last one where I can feel the mood and the movement so well!

    1. Thanks so much for mentioning your favs, Sandra! It was an exciting and challenging day with all the movement, harsh light, and visual variety - chaos at times. The father and daughter image is one I really like. I did it in B&W and duotone also, which gave a classic, timeless feel.
