Spring Dreams

I called Ms. Spring and left a message,
"Please come to visit and stay a while.  I miss you so!"
I haven't received any reply.

So, I continue to cross country ski on the snow (no lie)...
looking at white fields, forests, and frozen lake.

But, I daydream of spring....

And, hear the florist's shop calling my name.
And, purchase small tulips.
And, revel in their delicate form.
And, dream of spring.

Wishing you a colorful and creative spring!

  10. How beautiful, Anna! :)
We had a bit of early spring in mid-Feb, with snowdrops, croci and daisies, but March started with snow and hail that killed most of the flowers and buds on the trees. Same thing happened last year. Crazy weather!
Have a lovely and colorful week!

  11. Last night a blizzard blew in leaving 4" of fresh snow and more still falling. The north wind howls another hurrah for winter. I hope this will help to make Spring sweeter in her long-awaited arrival.

  12. What a beautiful series of images, Anna.
Hopefully your snow will be gone soon, although I think if it's going to be cold, the ability to cross country ski would be great. Here now, it is cold, but just a little snow. Not enough to have fun in.

    Have a wonderful week ahead!

We are nice and warm already here in the desert. I think mother nature skipped spring and went right to summer. Whats up with that...

    Hugs~

  18. Such beautiful captures, Anna. I love them all for different reasons. The first one is so elegant in the fold of petals leading us to a luminous yellow near the stem. The second one has such a graceful angle as the bloom seeks the light. The third one is like an echo with a softer flower head below and I love to see the details of the petals in the other two.
A series which speaks to us of spring. It will come... the snow is just teasing us! Enjoy the skiing while you may!
