Frosty Morn

"In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary."  ~ Aaron Rose

This time of year often finds us waking up to a frost encrusted world.
It looks to me like Mother Nature has added a sugar coating to everything!
So, a couple mornings last week found me out photographing our yard and
what's left of my garden.

These experiences made me think about the accuracy of photographer, Aaron Rose's quote.
My equation would read something like this -
Scraggly, unassuming garden + Frost + Sparkling, morning sunlight =
Spectacular fantasy land, especially from a macro perspective!

Eventually, the brilliant sunlight melted all the frost crystals
resulting in water droplets everywhere.
More magic.

Finally, I left the garden with my treasure trove of images;
ready for the warmth of my kitchen and some hot tea.

Wishing you just the right light, at the right time,
 to make everything extraordinary!

  32. To co "zobaczy" aparat fotograficzny przy przybliżeniu różnych obrazów, oko ludzkie nie widzi. Właśnie dlatego takie zdjęcia jak Twoje w tym poście, są śliczne.Pozdrawiam

  33. I'm so envious! - in this part of the UK we don't get frost very often, it's usually just damp and grey. A heavy frost really does transform everything; these are lovely shots.

  37. Very beautiful, Anna – a fitting tribute to frosty autumn! And yes, the best part is going inside and warming up with a hot drink. :) It's about as gloomy as possible here today – November is usually our wettest month. Thinking of spring already. hugs xo – g
