Summer Reflections


Ms. Summer is busy packing her bags, getting ready to leave.
She sees the signs ~
shorter days,
cooler nights,
the first touches of golden color
in the foliage, 
and
Canadian Geese heralding the coming of Fall.

I will miss her wonderful, billowy cloud reflections on the lake,


 dancing among the lilly pads,


towering storm clouds,


and raindrops.
It has been a beautiful display of color, pattern, and ever changing imagery!

    yes, one of the things i will miss about summer is the clouds, and the water which you've captured beautifully so that I may remember and see again, whenever I wish. thanks Anna. happy day to you in the northern reaches...

    Yep! The weather is on the change here now. Leaves are starting to change colors and the air is a bit on the fresh side. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photographs!! :-)

    Beautiful photos. I kind of wish summer was on its way out here in AZ but we still have awhile to go, another month and a half, and it's been a brutally hot August.

    I will miss it too so much. We have a rally nice today and I have just watched outside all the green and try to restore that sight into my brains, I hope this never ends but it will. I really do hate Finland during the winter, I know it is harsh to say but I hate winter so much.

    Sorry, I arrive so late. The second and the last photos are beautiful. Like your description of Ms Summer. For one moment I almost thought your child is leaving for college. Oh well, that's because we have Summer and blue skies throughout the year.
